Taekwondo is still burning strong in me

I think I have two passions. Two passions that are different from the surface but deep inside both, there are similarities.

Today, I am going to combine both of these passions and made it one. Let's talk less and present to you, Taekwondo and photography. *HAHA*

1. I like to shoot with this kind of lightings

2. As  you can see, the space is very limited. I can't crop of the left part or else it'll kill the feeling.

3. Back Fist

4. Spear

5. Tiger Stance

6. Chop. Yeah I know it doesn't look like it. LOL.

7. Back First from another angle.

8. This chop better or the previous one in (6)?

9. Now, this is my favourite shot of the night. Even though it's not a good kick. Not a good angle, but I like how the light landed on my feet, uniform and my face. This is the only shot out of 88 shots that satisfy me.

10. Jumping too low, not enough time to raise my other leg. Space is the problem.

11. Turning kick. If I did my warm up, I think I can kick higher than this.

12. Trying to do a high side kick but failed. I can't remember if it's me moving too fast or too slow that my leg haven't stretch/retract, OR, I really need to start training again. LOL.

13. Oh, I'm on my daily routine to do push ups since I didn't do much exercise here in China. I did 30 push ups one shot, daily. In this position....... not. LOL.

These similarities are: Courtesy, Integrity, Perserverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit. (Also, Tenants of Taekwondo)

Behind the scene thoughts:
It really had been 3 years since I put up this uniform and really train in it. It was an important part of my life. Through a fight, once understand himself better. Throughout my Taekwondo journey, I had learnt a lot of things. Many things that we don't learn from textbooks.

I really hope that I will have the chance to start my training back again. I love martial arts.

p/s: I really don't quite like self-potrait because, I have problem getting the focusing right, and angle also a big problem since I need to mount my flash gun and camera on my tripods. =(

Street Fighters @ STAR

Feel like writing down this for a long long time already but, always not free. Since I'm VERY FREE now, I might as well write this.

Last Friday, Gorilla MSN-ed me and asked for a fight. A good fight. And, so, I promised a good fight.

On early Saturday, when the sun has yet to rise, we had already met in our arena. This is one of my best fight ever. Really. Kicking legs, pulling hair, throwing people. It's really really really street fight. Haha! Some said, cat fight =.=~

It is a very very good fighting experience. At least I still know that I can defend myself. Just that I had to overcome my stamina. Old liao. Haha!

Gorilla, let's ganbade again and fight again in time to come!

Sakae & Taekwondo

Last Wednesday was a public holiday for Selangor, something to do with the al-Quran. So, I got a day off! Initially I just want to stay at home and rot but in the end, ShinD somehow motivated me to go out to find my other half. Muaahhahahahaa!

Well then, I in the end made up my mind to go to KLCC to see if there's something new coming up. Oh yes~ I saw my love, the Sony Flash Gun. *Drool~*

After that, then only I go eat my lunch...Alone.

Everytime I go to Sakae, surely have this Kaikiage. You MUST try!

I ordered this

And this... I love the texture and the taste of salmons

Now, back to today. I went to this Taekwondo grading, of which I hasn't really been much involved already. However, everytime when I see young hot bloods are doing their very best in this very grading, it boils my blood again.

Promoted... Not me la. I'm planning this year end. Must cut... down... fats....

Cherry, promoted to 1st Dan

Yvone, promoted to 1st Dan

Kim Huat who's taking his 4th Dan:"You're going down dude!"

Oh ya, by the way, check out this video promoted by Bruce Lee. It might appear not to be what you're expecting, but watch till it ends. Okay?

p/s: Gorilla Kwan & Bruce Lee, I'm gonna kick both of ya asses!

Taekwondo/Monash

For the very very first time, I felt so successful in my Taekwondo life. I went back to home, as you know and you can see from the previous posts, and I went for a training session of which I had long missed.

I went there, like usual, I am in charged of the white belts/beginners. I thought them what they should know, and also, many other things that other masters/seniors who doesn't teach.

In the end of the training sessions, some of them actually came and asked me, "Sir, will you still be coming again next week? We want to learn more." This is what came out from their mouth. I am so proud of myself, and the passion deep inside me had been lighted up with blaze again.

YoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooSh!!!!!!!! I will train back and do my best!!!!

***********************************************

Now, let's come back to present. I went to work today in various location, and my last destination today is Monash University. And really I tell you, Monash is seriously a place for study. They have all the facilites, they have all the labs, and they have all the standard curves you want to find there.

It is just so wonderful. *Falling in love~*
